Independent winegrowers for 3 generations
Henri and Jean-Louis Beurdin have been cultivating 19 hectares of AOC Reuilly vines (an appellation located in the département of Indre) to the southwest of Bourges since 1940.
Our vineyard is situated in the municipality of Preuilly, in the département of Cher. Parcels bring together vines of different ages, ensuring perfect conditions for grape development and maturity and enabling production of a range of truly amazing wines on ideal clay-limestone and compact silt soils. The appellation was defined for white wines in 1937 and reds and rosés in 1961.
Grape varieties & production
70 % Sauvignon
A triumph of the Centre Region’s terroir, our white wine is dry, fruity, and of extraordinary finesse, its aromatic complexity providing a nose with notes of fruits and citruses.
Pleasingly long in the mouth, it best expresses its typicity with the dishes it accompanies: as an aperitif, and with fish, scallops, seafood, fish in sauce, and goat cheese.
30 % Pinot Noir
Our rosé is dry and fruity, a wine of great complexity with floral aromas. An elegant wine, salmon pink in colour and bursting with freshness, it reveals its full flavour with charcuterie, quiche Lorraine and calf’s head vinaigrette, as well as with exotic cuisine and certain desserts.
The red is slightly tannic, with a fabulous bouquet combining an infinity of amazingly subtle aromas with hints of red fruits. A well-balanced, supple and harmonious wine.
It is characterised by an assertive but delicate nose and a brilliant, ruby red robe. It goes perfectly with white meats, game and cheese.
